Prestar bastante atenção a algo que pode acontecer ou aparecer, geralmente porque é importante ou pode causar um problema.

Normalmente informal. Usado para perigos, oportunidades ou algo esperado ('watch for sinais', 'watch for o ônibus'). Diferente de 'look for' (procurar), pois é mais ficar atento do que buscar. Comum em avisos e conversas do dia a dia.
