Definition
Un waiter es un hombre cuyo trabajo es servir comida y bebidas a los clientes en un restaurante, cafetería o lugar similar. Normalmente toma pedidos, lleva los platos y ayuda a los clientes durante su visita.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa para un camarero hombre; la forma femenina suele ser 'waitress', pero hoy también se usa mucho 'server' porque es neutral. Frases comunes: 'call the waiter', 'the waiter took our order' y 'tip the waiter'. En algunas regiones, 'server' suena más natural en el uso actual.
