"wait about" in Japanese

Definition

特に目的もなく、誰かや何かを待っている間にその場で時間を過ごすこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

くだけた言い方で、待ちながら何もせずその場にいる状態。'hang around' や 'wait around' と同じような使い方。
