紙や布などの柔らかい素材がぎゅっと丸められたり、くしゃくしゃにされた状態を表す。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

硬いものにはあまり使わず、柔らかい素材が主。受け身形（例：wadded up）や「wadded cotton」のように詰め物の意味でも用いる。
