通俗本指天主教会采用的拉丁文圣经译本。更广泛地说，“通俗本”也可以指某个文本或故事的普及版本。

“通俗本”多在学术、宗教或文学语境中使用。大写特指拉丁文圣经，小写泛指某种广泛流传的文本。不等同于“粗俗”（vulgar）。
