Definition

選挙や決定の際に、誰かや提案に対して票を投じて選ぶこと。通常、投票用紙に印をつけたり挙手したりして行う。

選挙や会議などでよく使う表現。「vote for」の後に人や案が続く。「vote against」は反対の意味。

I will vote for my favorite candidate.

私はお気に入りの候補者に**投票します**。
