指朝風吹來的方向；向著風的來源。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

多用於戶外活動，如航海、飛行或環境科學。常和“downwind”（順風）一起出現。用於描述相對於風向的位置，例如“stand upwind”指站在上風口以避開煙霧。日常對話中較少用。
