Definition

কোনো আসবাবপত্র যেমন চেয়ার, সোফা ইত্যাদির ওপর কোমল কাপড় বা চামড়া দিয়ে গদি দিয়ে ঢেকে রাখা হয় যাতে বসতে আরাম হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এই শব্দটি সাধারণত চেয়ার, সোফা বা বেঞ্চের মতো আসবাবপত্রের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'upholstered in leather' বলতে চামড়ায় আবৃত বোঝায়। জামাকাপড়ের জন্য এই শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
