未精製のものは、加工や精製されていない自然な状態にあります。また、人や振る舞いが洗練されていない、上品さや礼儀に欠ける様子も表します。

物質なら「未精製の」、人や態度には「洗練されていない」を使います。「未精製」は原材料に、「洗練されていない」はマナーや品に使われます。「raw（生の）」とは使い方が異なります。
