本当ではないことを信じていたり、現実とは違うことを思い込んでいる状態を指します。間違った期待や信念を持っているときに使います。

多くは「〜と思い込んでいた」「〜と錯覚していた」と使われます。誰かの間違った考えや勘違いを指摘するときによく使います。
