Um assento pequeno e baixo, como um banquinho ou uma pequena almofada. O termo é mais conhecido por aparecer em rimas infantis antigas.

Raramente utilizado hoje, exceto em poesia, histórias ou cantigas de criança ('Little Miss Muffet'). Para mobília contemporânea, usa-se 'banquinho' ou 'pufe'.
