以比走路快但比跑步慢的速度移動，常用來描述馬，有時也用來形容人或動物快步小跑。

多用於描述馬匹的快步行走，也可描述人或寵物的小跑，有時形容帶有目的性或活力的步伐。不如跑步快，人運動時通常用「慢跑（jog）」。
