Şekerden yapılan kalın, koyu renkli ve tatlı bir şurup, genellikle yemek ve tatlılarda kullanılır. Ayrıca aşırı duygusallık anlamında da kullanılır.

Usage Notes (Korean)

İngiliz İngilizcesinde yaygındır, tariflerde ve 'treacle tart' gibi tatlılarda kullanılır. Mecazen 'aşırı duygusallık' için de kullanılır ('laying on the treacle'). Amerikan İngilizcesinde nadir ve genellikle 'molasses' kullanılır.
