Definition
何かが起きたり、隠されていた事実が後から明らかになったりする時に使います。科学では、植物が水分を蒸発させることも指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ニュースやフォーマルな文でよく使われます。'It transpired that...' は「～ということが判明した」という意味で使われます。科学用語としては植物の水分放出を指すので、普段の会話の「汗」とは違います。
