급류는 매우 빠르고 강한 물의 흐름을 뜻하며, 갑자기 세차게 쏟아질 때 자주 사용됩니다. 비유적으로는 말이나 감정 등이 한꺼번에 쏟아져 나오는 것도 의미합니다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
Genellikle su ile (örn. 'a torrent of rain') kullanılır; 'a torrent of words', 'a torrent of emotions' gibi mecazlarda çokça geçer. Yavaş akışlar için kullanılmaz.
