एक छोटी सी इमारत जो सड़क, पुल या हाईवे पर होती है, जहाँ ड्राइवर को आगे जाने के लिए शुल्क (टोल) देना पड़ता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Tollbooth' सामान्यतः अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में इस्तेमाल होता है; ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में 'toll booth', 'tollgate' या 'toll plaza' ज़्यादा आम हैं। इसे मुख्यतः हाईवे या बड़े पुलों पर देखा जाता है। इसे 'toll road' या केवल 'booth' से न मिलाएँ।
