যে ব্যক্তি বা পদে নামমাত্র ক্ষমতা বা দায়িত্ব থাকে, প্রকৃত ক্ষমতা থাকে না; অথবা কোনো কিছুর শিরোনামে নাম উল্লেখ থাকে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'titular head', 'titular character' ইত্যাদি বিশেষভাবে আনুষ্ঠানিক বা সাহিত্যিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ পদ বা কর্তৃত্বের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
