用腳尖輕輕地、悄悄地走路，使腳跟不碰到地面。通常是為了避免發出聲音。

通常用過去式（如 'tiptoed'）。強調為了避免被發現或發出聲音而輕輕走路。常和 'into'、'out of'、'around' 等搭配使用。不要與一般的 'walk quietly' 混淆。
