Definition

お酒を少し飲んで気分が良くなっているが、酔いつぶれていない状態。

カジュアルで親しい関係の会話でよく使われます。「drunk」よりも軽く、ポジティブなニュアンスです。「ちょっとほろ酔い」のように使われます。

He got tipsy after two glasses of wine.
