Tornou algo mais apertado ou seguro ao puxar ou rodar, geralmente para evitar que fique solto.

Passado de 'tighten'. Muito usado para objetos físicos (parafusos, tampas), e também no sentido figurado (regras, controle mais rígido). Não confundir com 'tied' (atado).
