Definition

থিসরাস এমন একটি বই বা ডিজিটাল টুল যা কোন শব্দের সমার্থক বা বিপরীত শব্দের তালিকা দেয় এবং শব্দভাণ্ডার বাড়াতে সাহায্য করে।

'থিসরাস' সাধারণত লেখালেখি বা ভাষা শেখার সময় ব্যবহার হয়। এটি 'dictionary' (অর্থ অভিধান) থেকে আলাদা—'thesaurus' এ শব্দের মানে নয়, বরং বিকল্প শব্দ থাকে।
