悪い結果や不運を受け入れるときに使う表現で、「人生はそんなもの」「どうしようもない」という意味です。

とてもカジュアルな言い回しで、友達同士やラフな場面で使います。「仕方ない」や「人生そんなもんだ」と似ています。フォーマルな場面では使いません。
