否定文で使われ、何かについて全く分からないことを表す。よく「not have the foggiest idea」というフレーズで使われる。

とても口語的で、ほとんどの場合「not have the foggiest idea」の形で用いる。完全に知らないことを強調する時に使い、フォーマルな場には不向き。
