पृथ्वी या जमीन से संबंधित, न कि पानी या हवा से। विज्ञान में अक्सर उन जीवों या चीज़ों के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है जो भूमि पर रहते हैं।

मुख्यतः वैज्ञानिक या औपचारिक संदर्भ में उपयोग होता है, जैसे जीवविज्ञान ('terrestrial animals'), खगोलशास्त्र ('terrestrial planets') आदि। आम बोलचाल में नहीं इस्तेमाल होता। 'extraterrestrial' (पृथ्वी से बाहर का) से न मिलाएँ।
