十分の一

Definition

何かを10等分したときのそれぞれの部分のこと。小数や分数でよく使われます。

主に数学や理科で分数(1/10)や小数の位（例えば0.5の十分の一の位）を表す時に使われる。日常会話ではあまり使われません。

There are ten tenths in one whole.

1つの全体には10個の**十分の一**があります。

The number 0.4 is four tenths.

0.4は**十分の一**が4つです。

He cut the cake into tenths so everyone got a piece.

彼はケーキを**十分の一**に切り分けて、みんながもらえるようにした。
