마법이나 첨단 기술로 한 순간에 다른 장소로 이동하는 것.

주로 SF, 판타지, 게임 등에서 사용. 실제 이동에는 쓰지 않음. '순간이동했다', '순간이동당했다'로 자주 나온다.

The wizard teleported us to a safe place.

마법사가 우리를 안전한 곳으로 **순간이동했다**.
