কিছু পড়ে যাওয়ার মতো অস্থির অবস্থায় থাকা, অথবা সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার কাছাকাছি থাকা মুহূর্তকে বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘দুলছে’ সাধারণত কোনো কিছু পড়ে যাওয়ার মতো অবস্থায় ব্যবহার হয় (‘টেবিলের কিনারে দুলছে’), আবার ‘টলছে’ পরিস্থিতি বা সিদ্ধান্তে দ্বিধা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
