Definition

কোনো কিছু যা অত্যন্ত একঘেয়ে ও সময়সাপেক্ষ, সাধারণত একই ধরনের কাজ বারবার করতে হয় বলে বিরক্তিকর মনে হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রধানত লিখিত ও আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'tedious task', 'tedious job', 'tedious process'-এর মত বাক্যে বেশি দেখা যায়। শুধু 'boring'এর চেয়েও বেশি, কারণ এতে সময় ও ক্লান্তি জড়িত।
