人をからかったり、ばかにしたりして、嫌な気持ちにさせる言葉や行動。多くの場合、何度も繰り返される。

否定的な意味で使われ、いじめやスポーツ、日常のからかいによく見られます。“cruel taunts”や“ignore the taunts”などの表現で使います。
