野生動物に芸や命令を教え、主にサーカスやショーで安全に扱う人。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にライオンやトラなど危険な動物を扱う人を指し、サーカスやショーの文脈で使われます。ペットの訓練士には通常使いません。「トレーナー」を使ってください。
