Aceitar a responsabilidade por um erro ou algo ruim que aconteceu, mesmo que outros também estejam envolvidos.

Usado quando alguém aceita a culpa, às vezes para proteger outros. Muito comum em situações formais e informais. Normalmente aparece como: 'take the blame for (algo)'. Diferente de 'ser culpado' (ser acusado por outros).
