突然横にそれる動きやコースを変えること。特に車などが何かを避けるときによく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

車や自転車など乗り物によく使われます。「to avoid」とセットで使われる場合が多いです。通常の“turn”よりも突然で制御が効かない印象です。
