최상급은 어떤 성질이나 상태가 가장 높거나 극단적임을 나타내는 문법적인 표현입니다. 예를 들어 '가장 크다', '가장 빠르다' 등이 있습니다.

세 가지 이상을 비교할 때 사용합니다. 짧은 형용사는 '-est', 긴 형용사는 'most'를 붙입니다. 'most fastest'처럼 둘을 함께 쓰지 않습니다. 일상적인 대화와 공식적인 글에서 모두 사용됩니다.
