Definition

সূর্যের উপর গাঢ় দাগ যা সাধারণত ঠান্ডা তাপমাত্রা ও শক্তিশালী চুম্বকীয় ক্রিয়ার কারণে তৈরি হয়। এছাড়াও, ত্বকে অতিরিক্ত রোদ পড়ার ফলে দেখা দেওয়া ছোট কালো দাগকেও বোঝায়।

'Sunspots' বৈজ্ঞানিক আলোচনায় সূর্যের দাগ বোঝায়। ত্বকের প্রসঙ্গে বলা হলে, এটি সূর্যের আলোয় হওয়া ছোট কালো দাগ—'freckles' (জেনেটিক), 'moles' (বড় তিল)-এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
