Definition

अखबार या समाचार में वह संदेश जो छपने या प्रसारण से ठीक पहले मिली बहुत ताज़ा और महत्वपूर्ण खबर देता है। कभी-कभी बातचीत में भी अचानक खबर बताने के लिए कहते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अखबार में छपने से ऐन पहले की खबर लिए; आम बातचीत में मज़ाक या जोर देकर बड़ी खबर बताने को कहते हैं। साधारण बोलचाल में कम ही सुनते हैं।
