التوقف أو إنهاء فعل ما عند مكان أو نقطة محددة؛ غالبًا ما يُستخدم للسيارات أو عند بلوغ حد معين.

يُستخدم 'stop at' غالبًا مع أماكن ('stop at the station') أو حدود مجازية ('won't stop at anything'). أكثر حرفية من 'stop by' (المرور السريع). لا تخلطه مع 'stop to' (توقف للقيام بشيء آخر).
