“Stepsisters” 專指女性，單數形式為“stepsister”，不適用於男性（那是“stepbrother”）。常見於童話故事，例如灰姑娘裡的“繼姐妹”。與“half-sisters”不同，stepsisters 沒有任何血緣關係。
