“Steep”는 경사가 매우 가파르거나, (가격 같은 것이) 매우 비싸다는 뜻입니다.

주로 경사('steep hill')나 가격('steep price')에 사용됨. 구어체 'That's steep!'은 '비싸다!'는 뜻. 'deep'(깊은)과 혼동하지 마세요.
