“Staves” 是“stave”的複數，可以指組成桶側面的彎曲木板，或指用於寫樂譜的五線譜線。

屬於正式或專業詞彙，多出現在制桶業或音樂理論（英式英語用“stave”指五線譜線）。日常會話不常用。不要和“staffs”（員工或棍子）混淆；指音樂時，正確用“staves”。
