Definition

다른 사람이 지나갈 수 있도록 옆으로 비켜 서거나, 어떤 역할이나 책임에서 물러나는 것.

실제로 몸을 옆으로 비키거나, 역할에서 물러날 때 쓴다. 지시형이나 사임과 관련해 자주 쓰임. 'stand by'와 다름.

Please stand aside so I can get through the door.

제가 문을 지나갈 수 있도록 **옆에 서 주세요**.
