多くの人や動物が恐怖や興奮で突然一斉に慌てて走り出すこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に牛などの動物に使うが、人の群衆にも使える。'were stampeded'のように受動態で使われることが多い。突然さやパニック感を含む。
