تفريق أو تقسيم شيء إلى جزأين أو أكثر أو مجموعات.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يستخدم غالباً لتقسيم شيء كبير إلى مجموعات أو أجزاء (“groups”، “sections” وغيرها). تعبير رسمي أو محايد؛ لا يستخدم لعمليات الفصل الصغيرة. لا تخلطه مع 'split up' (انفصال علاقة) أو 'split off' (انشقاق جزء من الكل).
