副木
Definition
副木とは、けがをした手足などを動かさずに固定して保護するための、プラスチックや金属、木でできた支え具です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
医療現場で骨折やけがの後に使われます。常に複数を表し、単数形は「副木」。「shin splints」は全く別の意味なので注意が必要です。「装着する」「外す」などの動詞とよく使います。
