Definition

大量の雪のために外に出られなくなること。

主に寒い地域で使われる口語表現です。実際に雪が出口や道を塞ぐ状況で使います。比喩的な意味では使いません。家や車、町にも使えます。

We were snowed in all weekend and couldn't go outside.
