কিছুতে খুব জোরে ও হঠাৎ ধাক্কা লাগা বা আঘাত করা, যা সাধারণত ক্ষতি বা বড় শব্দ সৃষ্টি করে।

'smash into' সাধারণত গাড়ি দুর্ঘটনা বা কোনো কিছু ভেঙে পড়ার ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার হয়। শক্তি ও আকস্মিকতা বোঝায়। 'bump into' অপেক্ষা অনেক বেশি গুরুতর।
