Definition

'sling' का बहुवचन। स्लिंग्स पट्टियाँ होती हैं जो घायल हाथ को सहारा देने के लिए या पत्थर फेंकने वाले हथियार के रूप में इस्तेमाल होती हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Slings' चिकित्सा पट्टियों (arm slings) या पुराने हथियार (गोफन) का मतलब दे सकता है। अस्पताल में 'arm slings' आम हैं। अंग्रेजी में 'slings and arrows' कठिनाइयों के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है।
