경사진 곳이나 미끄러운 표면을 따라 중력에 의해 부드럽게 아래로 내려가는 것.

Usage Notes (Korean)

특히 어린이들이 미끄럼틀을 탈 때나 경사진 곳, 난간 등을 미끄러져 내려갈 때 자주 사용함. 'slide down the hill', 'slide down the banister' 등과 함께 많이 씀. 'slip'은 갑작스럽게 넘어지는 것이니 구분할 것.
