車の速度を落とすために道路に設けられた盛り上がり部分のこと。いわゆる『スピードバンプ』。

日本語では『スピードバンプ』や『ハンプ』と呼ばれ、道路上の障害物を意味します。イギリス英語的な言い回しは直接使われません。
