Definition

어떤 것이 너무 적거나 작을 때, 특히 노출이 심한 옷이나 양이 적은 음식을 말할 때 사용합니다.

'skimpy dress', 'skimpy bikini' 등에서 흔히 사용 → 노출이 많음. 음식이나 자원이 부족할 때도 씀. 약간 비공식적이며 때때로 비판적으로 들림.

The salad was skimpy and I was still hungry.
