誰かや何かに目立たないように静かにゆっくり近づくこと。気づかれないようにする場合によく使う。

小説や会話でよく使われる表現で、こっそり行動したいときに合う。「～にそっと近づく」「～のそばにそっと寄る」などの使い方が一般的。人や場所によく使う。
